- Content Writer limited liability company with its registered office in Poznań, address: ul. Strzelecka 29A/39, 61-846 Poznań, company registered in the District Court Poznań-Nowe Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, VIII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, KRS: 0001088645, NIP: 7792567297, REGON: 527809297 (hereinafter: Content Writer) uses security mechanisms to protect personal data against disclosure to unauthorized persons, collection by an unauthorized person, processing in violation of applicable law and change, loss, damage or destruction.
- Personal data is processed by Content Writer in accordance with the requirements of generally applicable law, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR, OJ L 119, 4.5.2016, p. 1–88).
- This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) sets out the rules for the processing and protection of personal data adopted by Content Writer. The Policy regulates:
a) types of personal data collected by Content Writer,
b) how we use your personal data,
c) the rights of persons whose data is processed by the Content Writer,
d) the categories of entities to whom personal data is shared,
e) protection measures, security mechanisms and security of personal data,
f) the method of contact regarding the exercise of the rights of persons whose data is processed by the Content Writer,
g) the means and methods used by Content Writer to protect personal data,
h) information about cookies.
I. Basic concepts
- personal data – any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, e.g. name and surname, telephone number, address, identity card number. An identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social characteristics. The information is not considered to identify a person if it would require excessive costs, time or effort;
- data processing – any operations performed on personal data, such as collecting, recording, storing, developing, changing, making available and deleting, and in particular those performed in IT systems;
- personal data breach – a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed;
- Client – an entity for which Content Writer provides legal services.
II. Personal Data Controller and Data Protection Officer

- The Data Protection Officer is Bartosz Ciesielski, correspondence address: ul. Strzelecka 29A/39, 61-846 Poznań (bartosz.ciesielski@contentwriter.co), which supervises compliance with the rules for the processing and security of personal data in Content Writer.
III. Rules for collecting personal data
- A Content Writer, as an entity processing personal data as part of the provision of services, in particular copywriting (writing services provided by electronic means), obtains personal data primarily directly from its Clients. If personal data, in particular business contact details, were not collected directly from the data subject, they could have been provided by the represented entity or obtained from publicly available sources, such as public registers (e.g. the National Court Register).
- The Content Writer obtains personal data, in particular:
- name and surname,
- Address
- business address,
- NIP number,
- Your email address
- telephone number
- data contained in e-mail correspondence,
- details of orders placed in the blog store,
- bank account number,
- IP address,
- approximate location,
- image (profile picture),
- statistics related to the newsletters received,
- Your favorite email client
- interest in specific topics,
- the content of comments added on the blog.
IV. Method of processing personal data
- Content Writer provides security over the type and scope of personal data processed, the period and method of their processing, as well as the persons authorized to process them.
- Content Writer has security mechanisms in place to protect the information and personal data it collects.
- Content Writer ensures that your personal information is adequately administrative, technical, and physically protected against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized damage, loss, modification, access, disclosure, or use.
- Content Writer stores personal data only for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the personal data was collected, unless the law requires a longer retention of a specific type of personal data.
- Content Writer will take steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal data if this is required by applicable law or if the personal data is no longer necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.
- Content Writer declares that:
a) processes personal data in accordance with the law;
b) collects personal data for specified, lawful purposes and does not subject it to further processing incompatible with these purposes;
c) stores personal data in a form that allows identification of the data subjects for no longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose of processing;
d) processed personal data that is factually correct and adequate in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
- Access to personal data is granted to: Content Writer, its employees authorized in writing, associates and persons providing services to it, in particular:
a) a hosting provider that stores data on the server,
b) provider of cloud computing services in which files that may contain the Client’s personal data are stored,
c) provider of the mailing system in which the Client’s data is stored, if he is a newsletter subscriber,
d) provider of the invoicing system in which the Customer’s data is stored for the purpose of issuing an invoice,
e) an entity providing technical support services that obtains access to the data if the technical work carried out relates to the areas where the Customer’s personal data is located,
f) other subcontractors who gain access to the data if the scope of their activities requires such access.
Access to personal data by the above-mentioned persons takes place only for the purpose and to the extent specified by Content Writer.
- The Content Writer keeps records of the persons authorized to process them. Persons who have been authorized to process data are obliged to maintain strict confidentiality of personal data and the methods of securing it, in accordance with the law and using the same security mechanisms as Content Writer.
- The Content Writer and the persons authorized to process this data use technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of the personal data processed.
- The data collected by Content Writer may be used, m.in, for the following purposes:
a) to provide, administer, and communicate services or contracts by the Content Writer; in the case of processing personal data of a person at whose request steps were taken to conclude a contract with a Content Writer or to perform a contract concluded with them (pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR); in the event of obtaining personal data for the purposes related to the performance of a specific contract, Content Writer provides the data subject with detailed information on the processing of their personal data at the time of concluding such a contract;
b) fulfilling legal obligations incumbent on the Content Writer, which result, for example, from accounting and tax regulations (pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR);
c) electronic and traditional correspondence; in the case of sending to Content Writer via e-mail or traditional correspondence unrelated to the services provided by Content Writer or any other agreement concluded with Content Writer, personal data contained in this correspondence is processed only for the purpose of communication and resolving the matter to which the correspondence relates, which is the legitimate interest of Content Writer (pursuant to: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);
d) telephone contacts; in the case of contacting Content Writer by phone, in matters not related to the services provided by Content Writer or another agreement concluded with Content Writer, Content Writer may request the provision of personal data only if it is necessary to handle the matter to which the telephone contact relates, which is the legitimate interest of Content Writer (pursuant to: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);
e) collecting personal data in connection with the activity of a Content Writer: in connection with its activity, a Content Writer may also obtain personal data for other purposes, e.g. establishing and maintaining business contacts, which in each case will be based on the legitimate interest of the Content Writer (pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
f) assess the risk and improve the Content Writer’s business (including the development of the services provided, communication management, analysis and improvement of the services provided by the Content Writer), which is the legitimate interest of the Content Writer (pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);
g) estimating employment interest and contact regarding employment opportunities at the Content Writer, which is the legitimate interest of the Content Writer (pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);
h) recruitment: to comply with legal obligations related to the recruitment process (pursuant to: Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR); in order to conduct recruitment and conclude a contract with the candidate at his/her request (pursuant to: Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). As part of the recruitment processes, the Content Writer expects the provision of personal data (CV or CV) only to the extent specified in the provisions of law. If the candidate also provides other data not required by the Content Writer in the recruitment advertisement, it is considered that he/she has consented to their processing (legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), and the candidate may withdraw such consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal. In the event that the submitted applications contain information that is inadequate to the purpose of recruitment, it will not be used or taken into account in the recruitment process;
h) as required by law or in connection with pending legal proceedings or in connection with a request by a public authority to provide information held by the Content Writer, which constitutes the legitimate interest of the Content Writer within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR;
i) ensuring compliance of the processing with the provisions of personal data protection and internal regulations of Content Writer in this respect, which constitutes the legitimate interest of the Content Writer within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
- When placing an order within the Content Writer academy (e-books, courses), you must provide the data necessary for its implementation: e-mail address, name and surname, invoice details. The data collected in connection with the order are processed for the purpose of:
a) performance of a contract concluded by placing an order (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR),
b) issuing an invoice (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR in connection with the relevant regulations governing the issue of invoices),
c) including the invoice in the accounting documentation and the fulfilment of other tax and accounting obligations (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR in connection with the relevant regulations governing tax and accounting obligations),
d) inclusion in the archive for the purposes of possible defence, determination or pursuit of claims, as well as ensuring the updating of purchased documents, which is a legitimate interest pursued by the controller (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
- Providing personal data is voluntary, but failure to provide it will prevent the achievement of the purposes referred to above. Personal data will be stored by Content Writer for the period necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes, but no longer than required by the provisions of generally applicable law.
V. Sharing and entrusting the processing of personal data
- Content Writer does not share, sell or disclose in any other way the collected personal data, including to third countries, except for the situations described in the Policy or when it results from generally applicable laws.
- Content Writer may entrust the processing of personal data to service providers acting on its behalf. In accordance with the concluded agreements for entrusting the processing of personal data, Content Writer requires these service providers to comply with the law, a high level of privacy protection and security of personal data processed by them on behalf of Content Writer.
VI. Rights of data subjects processed by the Content Writer
- Within the limits of the law, each person has the right to access their personal data, in particular as a form of control over the processing of their personal data by the Content Writer, in particular to obtain information about the purpose, scope and method of data processing.
- Within the limits of the law, each person also has the right to change, supplement, rectify and update their personal data processed by the Content Writer.
- Within the limits of the law, each person also has the right to request the deletion of their personal data processed by the Content Writer.
- If the processing of personal data is based on consent, the person giving consent has the right to withdraw consent to the processing of their personal data by reporting it to the Content Writer in any way. In such situations, Content Writer will apply the decision in relation to future activities, which means that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent.
- Any person has the right – where provided for by law – to request the Content Writer to restrict the processing of their personal data.
- For reasons related to a particular situation and within the limits of the law, each person has the right to object to the processing of their personal data by the Content Writer based on the implementation of their legitimate interest.
- Within the limits of the law, any person has the right to receive in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format the personal data concerning you that he or she has provided to Content Writer and the right to transmit this personal data to another controller without hindrance from Content Writer. Content Writer will execute such a command if such a message is technically possible. The right to transfer personal data applies only to the data that Content Writer processes on the basis of a contract or consent.

- If you believe that the processing of your personal data by the Content Writer violates the law, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority, in the case of the Republic of Poland – the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
- The rules related to the exercise of the above-mentioned rights are described in detail in Articles 16 – 21 of the GDPR.
VII. Cookies and analysis software
- Using the website www.contentwriter.us does not involve logging in, creating an account or providing your data. The website www.contentwriter.us is hosted with the help of a hosting company lh.pl.
- Content Writer, its service providers and business partners collect certain information through automated means, such as cookies, when you browse the www.contentwriter.us website. The information collected in this way may include: IP address, browser type, operating system, URLs visited, as well as information regarding activities performed on the website.
- Cookies contain little information and are downloaded to your computer or other device by the server that hosts the www.contentwriter.us website. Your web browser sends them back to the website www.contentwriter.us each time you use the website, so that the server recognises you and remembers, for example, your preferences (visits or previous activities).
- However, cookies can collect information about you (e.g. language, country and previously viewed pages) each time you visit a www.contentwriter.u website. For more information about cookies, please visit www.aboutcookies.org.
- Content Writer uses cookies to obtain information, in particular:
a) information about the operating system and web browser,
b) viewed subpages,
c) time spent on the site,
d) transitions between individual subpages,
e) The source from which you navigate to the page
f) the age range you are in,
g) Your gender,
h) Your approximate location limited to the city,
i) Your interests based on your online activity.
This information is stored by the Content Writer for up to 5 years. This information cannot be linked to any natural persons and is not information that allows the identification of the Client, i.e. personal data.
- The www.contentwriter.us website uses two types of cookies: persistent cookies and session cookies. “Session” cookies are temporary files stored on the user’s end device until logging out, leaving the website or turning off the web browser. On the other hand, “persistent” cookies are stored on the user’s end device for a specified period of time in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.
- By using the www.contentwriter.us website, you agree to the placement of the cookies described above on your computer or other device. However, you can always control the cookies that have been installed. However, deleting or blocking cookies may affect your use of the www.contentwriter.us website, as some areas of the website may become inaccessible.

- In order to monitor the website, www.contentwriter.us Content Writer may use third-party analysis software, e.g. Google Analytics. Google Analytics can be disabled by using a browser extension that can be downloaded from the following website: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. This service is based on cookies on the user’s end device. With regard to information related to the user’s preferences, collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit the information resulting from cookies using the tool: www.google.com/ads/preferences.
- For your convenience and to provide you with additional information, the www.contentwriter.us website contains links to websites operated by entities independent of the Content Writer, e.g. Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. They may have separate privacy clauses or policies. Content Writer encourages you to read their content. With respect to any linked sites that are not owned or controlled by Content Writer, Content Writer assumes no responsibility or liability for their content, your use of those sites, or their privacy practices.
- Content Writer uses the Facebook pixel. This is based on the fact that Facebook knows that a person registered with Facebook uses the service. In this case, it relies on data for which it is the controller itself. Content Writer does not provide additional personal data to Facebook. The service is also based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.
- You can use your web browser to automatically or manually delete cookies. You can also specify that some cookies may not be placed. Another option is to change the settings of your web browser so that you receive a notification each time a cookie is placed. VIII. Changes and updates to the Policy
- The Policy may be modified from time to time. The modifications are aimed at taking into account changes in Content Writer’s practices regarding the handling of personal data and strengthening the personal data protection system at Content Writer.
- Significant changes to the Policy will be signaled by clearly visible messages placed on the Content Writer’s website. At the top of the Policy page, you will find information about the date of its latest update.
