What is the 7C method in communication?

The 7C method is the principle of formulating e-mail messages in such a way that they are as understandable as possible for the recipient.

  • complete – completeness;

The first rule of the 7C method in communication tells us that the message must be kept clear.

Remember that it should be as simple as possible. It’s not worth writing down and using complex language. Hyphens, bullet points, etc. can help.

Concise – brevity

For the reader of your potential message, there is nothing worse than a wall of text. Such a form always deters from reading. Instead, try to describe your thoughts in a concise and clear way. Avoid using complex sentences as much as possible.

Concrete – concreteness

This is inseparable from the two previous points. Speak clearly, simply and to the point. This is especially important in professional correspondence. Time is money. No one likes wasting it on catching key information in your message. Make them visible right away. Write only about what is really important to the case.

Correct – correctness

As they see us, so they write us. If you “arrange” a meeting in correspondence with your superior, it will probably not reflect well on you.
